Female Anhinga - B571

Field Notes - This beautiful female Anhinga was greeting the morning on the Wakulla River. Their feathers are so pretty and almost look like fur on their neck. Usually male birds stand out more than females but the Anhingas are just the opposite. Male Anhingas have a dark, blackish neck while the female have this pretty brown neck.
