Field Notes - A wonderfully stormy winter morning on the Gulf of Mexico. Shot in late December on a chilly and very windy morning that made me feel so alive and so fortunate to be there experiencing it. At the end of the morning, when everything is wrapped up and put away in the truck and you sit down and close the door and suddenly you're out of the wind and the wind noise and the salt spray you almost feel like you're suddenly in a vacuum - everything is so quiet and you're not being blasted by the sand and salt - that moment is so wonderful and exhilarating!
